Weather has been bad lately here in Iloilo. Maybe not only here but for the whole of Visayas and Mindanao due to the southwest monsoon. I don’t know what that means. I just know that rain has not stopped raining since last week.
The weather forecast says:
Western section of Luzon and the whole of Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Northern and Western Luzon and Western Visayas, and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the southwest with slight to moderate seas.
The problem with the non-stop rain is that it’s very uncomfortable. You have to wear layers of clothing, which gets wet and then sticks to your skin. So you feel cold, wet and gross. To top it off, some areas in the city (including the front of our house) has been flooding.
Isn’t that a bummer?
